Sun is rising through the clouds
Clearing twilight’s last remains
Warming everything around
On these sands
There’s a sense of destiny
And I know it’s a sign

I can see beyond horizons
The land of milk and honey awaits
The scenery so mesmerizing
And I so prepared
All my life was leading up

Pt. 2 – Fata Morgana

Working hard with devotion
Desire and ambition

Powered by a dream all this can appear

Like the only things I will ever need
For all expectations to be exceeded

Powered by the belief
If I set my mind to something it will be achieved

Fulfilling all others only dream about
I know I will for I stand out

Powered by the guide of those few lucky ones
Who reached the top and lived the dream and had all the fun

I know I too will become the one
To inspire others that it can be done

Powered by the assumption that the only recipe
Is to excel and do my best to fulfill my destiny

Remember, stay positive
You’re the one in charge of your own narrative

Powered by the dream it can really appear

Within grasp, within reach
Triumph is almost guaranteed

Powered by the belief
If I set my mind to something it will be achieved

No room for doubt with passion inside
All my time and effort will be justified

Powered by the guide of those few lucky ones
Who reached the top and lived the dream and had all the fun

Believing that I’ll join their club
Never to consider giving up

Powered by the illusion that to cross this wasteland
I need to excel and then I will reach the promised land

Pt. 3 – Remnants in Dunes

Now that I have boldly ventured forth I'm accompanied by doubts
Cast on me by almost everyone
Everywhere I look all I can see – the dunes of failures, pale reminders
Of those who have tried and never won

The further I go the less I see the place I want to reach
Was I driven by this play of air and heat?
The mirage gone, now I see not far from me lies a beach
That embraces ocean I must also beat

Dream land, a sight to behold
More far than ‘twas before

I was also counting on
Having others to help me carry on
Now there's more to fight my way through
Made harder by this turned lonely pursuit

Even if alone, I will find a way
I will look for a stream through this monstrosity of an ocean
For the remnants of that fire still present today
Reminding me of that dream, belief, guide and that strong devotion
And I won’t back down

Caught up in a sand storm I realize I still haven’t crossed this wasteland
The very limits of my skills are tested
Everything here makes me believe I’ll never reach the promised land
